What is the difference between USB3.1 and Type C interface?

USB 3.1 is an industry standard that was initiated by major companies such as Intel. the most important feature of USB 3.1 is that data transfer is extremely fast, with theoretical speeds of up to 10 Gbps. while USB Type-C is a connector specification that consists of a Type-C plug and a Type-C receptacle.
In the latest USB 3.1 standard, there are three interface styles, one is Type-A (i.e. Standard-A, the most common USB interface style on traditional computers), one is Type-B (both Micro-B, the current interface style used by mainstream Android smartphones), and the other is Type-C (i.e. the above-mentioned newly designed interface style).
Then we should be able to easily understand. Although USB Type-C is designed based on USB 3.1, it does not mean that the devices using this connection method are necessarily supported by the USB 3.1 standard; instead, contrary to what we thought, the older USB 3.0 Type-A interface devices are compatible with the USB 3.1 standard.
USB 3.1 is a transmission standard.
And USB Type-C is an interface standard.
So there is no absolute correlation between USB 3.1 and USB Type-C.
Having a USB Type-C interface does not necessarily mean that it supports the USB 3.1 standard. And USB 3.1 standard may not necessarily be a USB Type-C interface.
The main difference: USB Type-C transmission speed is higher, positive and negative can be inserted, charging power is higher.
